Claire's profession
is teaching primary school children and this is reflected
in her handling of the characters in Horse
Chestnut.
Claire has always
loved horses. Her first horse, bought at eighteen months old
and now thirty- three, is very much part of the family, but
all horses and equestrian events interest Claire and this
is amply demonstrated in her writing.
Along with horse
riding, her interests include amateur dramatics and relaxing
with her young family at one of the magnificent southern Tasmanian
beaches.
Claire has been
an avid reader since her own primary school days and this
first attempt at authorship looks like being a highly successful
one.
