Shirley and hubby
Phillip, live in the small seaside town of South Arm in Tasmania.
She has a loving family of three daughters, a son, two son-in-laws
and eight wonderful grandchildren and with their encouragement wrote
the children's book Lousing About.
She has a diploma
in home duties and enjoys making dolls, sewing, reading
and caravanning. With her husband, Shirley motor-sailed
the east coast of Australia for seven months. She has done
secretarial work and was a Hansard Reporter for a number of years.
As a nan, Shirley
hopes getting her first book published will encourage other
nans to have a go at writing a children's book.
