Maygog Publishing is a philanthropic publishing group that aims to be instrumental in publishing quality material that would otherwise remain in obscurity.

The name Maygog is derived from Gog and Magog, the caretaker giants of London and from the name of Maygog's founder, Michael Shegog, whose vision began the Maygog venture.

The winged dragon in the logo represents both the critical and the nurturing aims of Maygog in working together with the author to produce clear, concise, reader friendly writing. The relentless eye of the dragon reminds authors that they need to please their public, not only themselves! The dragon's arrowed tongue represents editing and the wings represent a caring embrace.
